Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa

Voted the UK's favourite spa retreat at Condé Nast's Traveller Readers' Spa Awards 2007 and One of the 100 Best Places to Stay in the World (Robb Report Luxury Resorts 2006) Chewton Glen is a five star luxury hotel and spa, located on the southern edge of the New Forest and a short walk from the sea. It has 35 bedrooms and 23 suites and the mixture of antique furnishings and knick knacks adds to the luxurious country mansion feel.

Food

The restaurant at the Chewton Glen is divided into three areas: 'The Conservatory', 'The Garden Restaurant' and 'The Marryat' and has won Michelin stars and rave reviews for offering the best of French and British cuisine. Guests can also enjoy lunch options on the lounge or bar terrace and a healthy buffet lunch option devised by a nutritionist is offered in the Pool Bar lounge, located in the Spa.

Facilities

A 17 metre indoor pool, hydrotherapy spa pool, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, gymnasium, cardio theatre dance studio, aromatherapy saunas and crystal steam rooms plus a nine hole par-3 golf course to name just a few! Outdoor activities such as horse riding and sailing can also be arranged and special events with talks or wine tasting sessions are regularly organised.

Treatments

10 treatment suites and a wide range of therapies which are divided into Renew, Radiance, Replenish and Regenerate categories. These include 'body cocoon' therapies - incorporating all over body scrubs and masks followed by massage. Holistic therapies are also available and there is a spa grooming lounge where manicures and pedicures are carried out.

Chewton Glen Rates:

Rates for residential and day spa packages vary depending on length of stay and type of room - for example a three night spa break is around US 1,430 (GB 720) per person which includes a 60 minute treatment daily, breakfast and dinner. Tennis breaks including tennis tuition are also available.
