LED Screens by Euro Display

EuroDisplay was founded in 1978 in Turin by Carmine Aversa, the current owner and General Manager.

All this starts, as often happens with great ideas, in the garage of the house. A disk-jokey friend asked almost jokingly to Mr Aversa a display on which to display the titles of the songs, to be placed near the dance floor in his discoteque.

Having a passion for electronics since he was a kid, he started to think about how to build a product like this, but being employed by another company did not have much free time. So he spent every weekend for the next 2 months in the garage, studying and designing a device that could serve the purpose.

The result was an alphanumeric display, which was very simple but functional: 16 characters, 1024 digits of memory, red color, which was controlled via a keyboard cable. The game, (because that's what it was at the time) could have ended here, but the friend who had requested the first display now wanted two more... and having seen the three display installed, a friend decided to order 2 to displays for his own store.

Within a few months, the weekends are no longer enough to keep up with the demand and Mr Aversa decided to open his own company and founded 2C Electronics.

Initially, the company is also involved in the mounting and soldering of components on circuit boards, not just its own products but also for other companies in the signage and lighting industry.

In 1986 - first in Italy - 2C Electronics starts the production of the first LED graphic billboards. In the subsequent years, the company supplies some of the leading companies in the field of LED signs, such as TecnoVISION, Ible and Tecnoplannig.
